1. Who we are
This site and the products offered on it are operated by Neutraza International C Corp (Delaware, United States) and Neutraza International Ltda. (Brazil), jointly referred to as "Neutraza". Questions about these terms can be sent to henrique@neutraza.com.
2. What the FRU is
The Forest Reserve Unit (FRU) is a Payment for Environmental Services (PES) instrument under Brazilian Law 14.119/2021, representing title to one specific hectare of Legal Reserve under a preservation contract. The FRU is not a carbon credit, is not a land title, and is not an exchange-traded financial instrument.
3. Registration and purchase
- To buy an FRU you must provide valid identification and payment information.
- Payments are processed by a third-party provider (Stripe); Neutraza does not store full card data.
- FRU ownership is confirmed upon payment confirmation and issuance of the corresponding digital certificate.
4. Renewal and cancellation
The specific term, renewal and cancellation conditions of each FRU are set out in the individual purchase agreement, presented before each transaction is completed.
5. Verification and monitoring
Neutraza maintains continuous verification of every hectare via satellite imagery, the public Rural Environmental Registry (CAR) and field audit by an independent partner. Material changes to a hectare's preservation status are reported to the holder of the corresponding FRU.
6. Limitation of liability
Neutraza acts as a platform connecting landowners (Guardians) to buyers (Holders) and organising independent verification of the preservation commitment. Neutraza does not guarantee specific market outcomes, tax treatment, or regulatory recognition of the FRU in any jurisdiction — we recommend each buyer consult their own legal and tax advisors.
7. Privacy — data we collect
- Account data: name, e-mail, company (where applicable), country.
- Transaction data: processed via Stripe, subject to the provider's privacy policy.
- Usage data: interactions with the site and with the buyer's Atlas, to improve the product.
8. How we use your data
We use the data collected to process purchases, issue certificates, run the buyer's Atlas, and communicate updates on the verification status of the hectares linked to your account. We do not sell personal data to third parties.
9. Your rights (LGPD / GDPR)
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct or request deletion of your personal data. Requests can be sent to henrique@neutraza.com.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by e-mail or by notice on the site before taking effect.
